World Ranger Day

Join us this Friday as we celebrate World Ranger Day at the National Park Visitor Centre with a fun and engaging program from 1:00–3:00 PM:

• Ranger Games on the lawn outside the Visitor Centre – fun for the whole family.

• Meet the Astronauts (1:00–2:00 PM) – Astronauts Ron Garan and Sian Proctor will share stories from their experiences in space. Alysha will give a talk about solar eclipses on Earth and other planets, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Daniel Leeb from the Iceland Space Science Institute. This is a unique opportunity to ask space experts your questions about the universe.

• Solar Eclipse Workshops (2:00–3:00 PM) – Learn how to prepare for the upcoming total solar eclipse.

Everyone is warmly welcome! Complimentary healthy refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
